Baku - APA-Economics. After the crisis, Russian car market continues to show explosive growth, Association of European Businesses (AEB) reported.

Since the beginning of the year, sales of passenger cars and light commercial (LCV) vehicles rose by 64% - up to 754.1 thousand vehicles.

In April, the growth of auto market was 42% and 235.7 mln cars were sold in the country. year The most sold cars were - AvtoVAZ Lada (sold 54 thousand), followed by Chevrolet (15,6 thousand), Renault (14,4 thousand), the Korean Kia and Hyundai (to 14 thousand).

Note that, virtually all automakers have managed to increase its sales in the Russian car market. The exception here was a Japanese Honda - in April, sales fell by a third since early 2011. They decreased by 14%.
