President Ilham Aliyev attends opening of new highway in Saatli region

Baku â€“ APA-Economics. Today, within the framework of his visit to Saatli region, Azerbaijani President attended opening of Saatli-Musali-Mazrali highway. Press service of the President told APA that the head of state was informed about technical-economic indicators of the road.

According to order signed by president in 2010, total length of the reconstructed road is 17 km. More than 20 000 residents will use this road which covers 8 settlements of the region. As a result of this road, the distance between Saatli and Imishli regions decreased by 40 km. Pavements were built on roadsides, trees were planted. Modern lighting system has been installed on the highway. Passages over the road have been reconstructed.

President Ilham Aliyev met with region residents and cut the red ribbon.
