In response to them, Vagif Khachatryan said that the perpetrators of the Meshali incidents were people from Armenia and abroad. He said that they were members of Dashnaksutyun Party.
He said that he was not involved in those events. The victims who testified in the process said that they knew Vagif Khachatryan and that he was one of the perpetrators of the crime in Meshali.
Vagif Khachaturyan said that the plan to attack Meshali village was prepared in Khankandi a day before, the leaders of that group were from Khankandi, but he did not know their names. "I know the participants from our village. But I don't know the others."
