Border protection and operational search measures are being continued in the field of ensuring reliable protection of the state border of Azerbaijan, fighting against illegal migration, APA reports.
On September 12 at 16:45, citizens of the Republic of Sudan - Hassan Abdelgadir Noreen və 1990-cı il təvəllüdlü Ahmed Mahmoud Mohamed Abdelrahman who violated the state border and attempted to illegally cross from the Republic of Azerbaijan to Georgia, were detained by border guards in the service area of the border outpost of the "Zagatala" border detachment of the State Border Service, located near the Balakan district.
During the investigation, it was determined that the detained persons officially entered the country, and by violating the state border intended to migrate from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the Republic of Georgia, and from there to one of the European countries.
Operational-investigative measures on the fact are underway.
