A resident of Corat settlement in Azerbaijan's Sumgayit has been detained in connection with the incident, APA reports.
Tagiyev Mushvig Mahammad, born in 1987, a resident of Corat settlement, suspected of having committed the incident, was detained by police officers.
The possible intention behind the incident is believed to be greed.
Recall that on October 28, at around 05:50, in the individual residential buildings of the Corat Baglari residential complex in Sumgayit city, a fire was opened from an automatic weapon in one of the houses. As a result, two people - Susana Karakash and Dagbeyi Farajov - were killed, and four others were injured.
During the incident, Terlan Faracov, Serkan Karakash, and later, neighbors who arrived at the scene - Etibar Sariyev and Mehman Sariyev - were injured.
