The body of the police sergeant of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Asgarov Alasgar Zakir, who was killed as a result of an act of sabotage-diversion/terror committed by illegal Armenian armed forces on September 19, was brought to Nakhchivan, APA's Nakhchivan bureau reports.
On September 20, there was a reception ceremony for the funeral of police sergeant Alasgar Alasgar at Nakhchivan International Airport.
Fuad Najafli, authorized representative of the President of the Republic of Azerbaijan in Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, representatives of the state and government, consul general of Türkiye in Nakhchivan, employees of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic and family members of Alasgar Alasgar participated in the event.
The body of Police Sergeant Alesger Asgarov, wrapped with our tricolor flag, was brought to the ceremonial site under the escort of police officers.
The authorized representative met with the family members of police sergeant Alasgar Asgarov and expressed his condolences.
