Specialists from Azerbaijan, Russia and Kazakhstan will come to Brazil to participate in decoding the black boxes from the Azerbaijan Airlines (AZAL) plane that crashed in Kazakhstan, says the Air Force of Brazil, APA reports.
"In accordance with Annex 13 of the Convention on International Civil Aviation and in response to a request from the Kazakh Air Accident Investigation Authority, the Aircraft Accidents Investigation and Provision Center (CENIPA) will receive three of their representatives, in addition to the specialists invited by that country - three from Azerbaijan and three from Russia. All of them will monitor the process of decoding the data," the Air Force said in a statement.
According to them, the black boxes will arrive in Brazil on Tuesday. "Upon completion of the work, the extracted data will be transferred to the Kazakh Air Accident Investigation Authority, the body responsible for investigating this incident, in accordance with international accident investigation protocols," the Brazilian Air Force said.
As noted in the statement, CENIPA's "three-dimensional animation technologies in virtual reality with full flight visualization will allow specialists to establish with great accuracy various parameters, such as the aircraft's trajectory, speed, altitude, operation of the system and flight controls."
