Azerbaijan unveils names of policemen and soldiers who were killed for helping residents of Meshali in siege

The names of the policemen and military personnel of Azerbaijan, who were killed by Armenians for helping the civilians to escape from the siege in Meshali village of Khojaly district, have been revealed, was noted in Vagif Khachatryan’s indictment, APA reports.

It was said that, Rustamov Hidayat Eldar, born on August 19, 1970, Aghayev Faig Alish, born on June 6, 1969, assigned to the Meshali police station from the Agdam district police (former militia) department, junior sergeants of that department, Military servicemen - lieutenant Eyyubov Kamil Baba, born on October 13, 1964, soldier Gonagov Musal Mirzaga, born on July 9, 1961 of the number 701 (former 18110) military unit of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Azerbaijan, and Azimov Tahir Eyyub, born on June 28, 1961, a fighter of the volunteer self-defense unit, who went to help the besieged civilians on December 23, 1991, were killed by Vagif Khachaturyan and other members of the Armenian military unit.
