“While inspecting the areas after the local anti-terrorist measures conducted in the Garabagh region of Azerbaijan, more facts have been detected that Armenians have desecrated Azerbaijani mosques,” the Ministry of Internal Affairs told APA.
It was detected that the Malibayli mosque, which is estimated to have been built in the XVII century in the Malibayli village of Shusha, has also been used as an animal barn same as the other once-occupied mosques and monuments of Azerbaijan.
It was noted that the minaret of the Malibayli mosque was already blown up by the Armenian armed forces in 1992 and its roof was rendered useless by the means of burning in a number of places. This savagery committed against the religious, historical, and cultural monuments is visual proof of Armenian vandalism.
