On December 05, at 11:40 p.m., the smuggling of a large amount of drugs from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the Republic of Azerbaijan was prevented in the service territory of the border outpost of the "Horadiz" border detachment of the State Border Service, located near Bartaz village, Zangilan district, the Press Center of the State Border Service told APA.
Noted that as a result of the border search and operational measures, 40 kilograms and 158 grams of narcotic marijuana hidden in the area were found and seized.
Operational-investigative measures are being continued.
