During the meausers taken by the employees of the 16 Police Department of Narimanov District Police Division of the Republic of Azerbaijan over the past few days, in total, 10 firearms were found, including 3 rifles during an operation, and 7 rifles as a result of the preventive works conducted with the population, Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan told APA.
During the operation carried out by the employees of the Department, 1 "TT" brand pistol and a case belonging to it from previously convicted Anar Hajiyev, 1 “Makarov” brand pistol and a case belonging to the said gun from previously convicted Vidadi Mammadov, and 1 “Kalashnikov” brand assault rifle and a case from previously convicted Rufat Ibrahimov were found and taken.
Additionally, a total of 7 hunting rifles were voluntarily handed over to the police officers with the preventive talks conducted by the officers of the Department among the citizens in recent days.
