Azerbaijan has appointed temporary commandants to Khojaly, Tartar and Khankandi, Minister of Internal Affairs of Azerbaijan, Colonel-General Vilayat Eyvazov said at a board meeting, APA reports.
Minister noted that all necessary measures were taken to ensure security and order in the areas freed from occupation, and that every house, every building and infrastructure facilities were secured, numerous weapons and ammunition and military equipment were discovered from the positions the illegal armed groups have left.
