The punishment of the Azerbaijani serviceman Huseyn Akhundov, who was accused of murdering a security guard at the Zangazur copper molybdenum combine and was sentenced to 20 years of imprisonment, was aggravated and replaced with life imprisonment.
The Criminal Court of Appeal of Armenia has upheld the complaint of the legal heirs of guard Hayrapet Meliksetyan in this regard.
