The incident took place in Sama wedding house, Aghdash prosecutor’s office told APA. One of the guests, resident of Agdash city Elkhan Farkhadov, 57, shot dead his fellow townsman Rahim Ibrahimov, 52 with his illegally-carried Makarav pistol. Farkhadov was arrested. No details were reported about the reasons of murder, but the persons reportedly were at odds for long years.
Unofficial sources told APA there was a blood feud between them.
The local prosecutor’s office launched a criminal case under article 120.1 (deliberate murder) and 228.1 (illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation or carrying of fire-arms, accessories to it, supplies (except for the smooth-bore hunting weapon and ammunition to it), explosives) of the Criminal Code. The fact is uncer the investigation.
