Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. The person, who beat a policeman in Azerbaijan’s capital, has been arrested. Assistant prosecutor of Narimanov district Parviz Salimzadeh told APA one of the assaulters, Elchin Avtandil Ismayilov, 30, had been detained by Narimanov district police. Salimzadeh said the district prosecutor’s office had launched criminal case on the fact on Article 221.2.1 (hooliganism by a group of men) of the Criminal Code. The others, who beat the policeman, are being searched.
The incident happened outside Narimanov district court yesterday. Inspector of Narimanov district police office, captain Ibrahimkhalil Alibaba Ahmadov was attacked by unidentified men.
