European Court rejects the Azerbaijani oppositionist’s appeal

Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. The European Court of Human Rights rejected appeal of First Deputy Chairman of Azerbaijan Democratic Party (ADP) Hasrat Rustamov on violation of his right during 2005 parliamentary election, lawyer Intigam Aliyev, who submitted the appeal, told APA. He said there have been no communication with government or complainant since than. The lawyer said the court didn’t make any comment on its rejection.

Hasrat Rustamov was running for the parliament in 2005 from the second constituency of 14th Azizbayov electoral district.
