Baku. Elnur Mammadli–APA. Resident of Baku Ramiz Hajili, who says that his private land plot was seized by Kafiya Pashazadeh, daughter of the leader of the Caucasian Muslims Office Allahshukur Pashazadeh, and his lawyer Sayyad Mammadov held a press conference on Thursday. According to APA, the lawyers said his client purchased a piece of land, 18 square m, in the estate 1902 at Nagiyev Street in Narimanov District of Baku in 1974. After the land reforms in the country, Hajili rented 20-sot land plot around that territory by the decision of Narimanov District and purchased 542 square m of piece from the municipality and privatized it. The lawyare said Kafiya Pashazadeh illegally seized a part of the land and used 60 square m for building of three-storey house and fenced 300 square m more. Mammadov said they appealed the Narimanov District Court, which passed the decision demanding Pashazadeh to leave the Hajili’s land. Later the court’s decision was annulled by the Appeal Court and the Supreme Court also approved the Appeal Court’s decision.

The lawyer said they have already appealed the European Court of Human Rights. Hajili said Pashazadeh used false documents to seize the land. He said 22-truck stones he had to use for building a house were stolen from there.

Pashazadeh’s lawyer Rafig Abdullayev said above-mentioned piece of land was a state property, but not municipal. He said the document Hajili received from the municipality was false. “The municipality sold that piece of land illegally. Kafiya Pashazadeh received a registration document for that area in 2004. There are court decisions and Kafiya Pashazadeh has a right to property”.
