Local residents informed police about the baby’s body found near Baku-Guba highway.
The female child probably was born two months ago, experts of the police and prosecutor’s office of Sumgayit said.
There is no report who and why left the baby in the dump.
Police is conducting operational searches to identify the person leaving the baby.
