He was returning from Russia to Azerbaijan, chief of 14th police department of Sabunchu district police office Zaur Badalov told APA. He said that resident of Nardaran settlement Ali Mammadov had been wanted on Article 178 (swindling) of the Criminal Code for a year. He reportedly swindled several citizens under the pretext of selling land plot in Nardaran. At that time Mammadov fled to Tumen. He was detained in Yalama checkpoint and brought to Baku.
