Lawyer Isakhan Ashurov: â€œMirza Sakit cannot reject the act of amnestyâ€

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. â€œAct of amnesty is the normative act envisaged in the legislation and must be executed. Both Mirza Sakit and others must obey this law,â€ deputy chief of the Penitentiary Service Huseyn Alikhanov told APA. Alikhanov also took a stance on the possibility of Mirza Sakitâ€™s rejecting â€œAct of amnesty on the occasion of Novruz holidayâ€. He said there was no mechanism of rejecting the law.
â€œAll must obey the law,â€ he said.

Public affairs department of the Penitentiary Service told APA that Mirza Sakitâ€™s imprisonment will expire in three months. The act of amnesty applied to him will be executed in time.

Mirza Sakitâ€™s lawyer Isakhan Ashurov also said there was no mechanism of rejecting the act of amnesty. The lawyer said the act with regard to Mirza Sakit will be executed in time.
â€œEverybody has the right to reject. But Mirza Sakit can not reject the act of amnesty,â€ he said.
