Baku. Elbrus Seyfullayev – APA. Officers of Justice Ministry’s Penitentiary Service again prevented smuggling of mobile phone to the jail, public affairs department of the Penitentiary Service told APA. On March 22, resident of Molla Jafarli village of Gazakh region Sheadet Hasanov, 23, and resident of Khilkhina village of Gazakh region Jalal Imanov brought a present for their friend, prisoner Fakhraddin Ismayilov, 22, held in jail #1. The present was searched and 7 Nokia mobile phones were found in a 7kg iron container, behind Super Sun butter can. The fact is being investigated.
Ismayilov faced charges under Article 120.2.4 of the Criminal Code and sentenced to 14 years in jail.
