Baku. Hafiz Heydarov-APA. The decision on amnesty on the occasion of Novruz Holiday is being executed. 38 inmates have been released from five detention facilities by now, said Huseyn Alikhanov, Deputy Chief of Penitentiary Service, APA reports.
Alikhanov added that the Amnesty Act was applicable to 9.000 inmates. 1700 prisoners will be released. 28 women detainees will be released as a result of the Amnesty Act.
