According to initial reports, the driver lost control and KamAZ carrying fuel turned over. About 20 tones of fuel spilt around. Ministry of Emergency Situations was immediately informed about the accident. The ministry officers arrived at the site and encircled the area to prevent fire. Measures are taken to clear the area of fuel.

The vehicle is reportedly owned by Azpetrol company. The fact is being investigated.

Azpetrol oil company confirmed the report to APA-Economics. The company said it happened at 6.00 today. The oncoming Mercedes caused the accident. The vehicle turned over, when the driver of KamAZ attempted to prevent collision. The hatch of the container opened and a part of the fuel spilt around. The area was cleared of fuel with the help of other vehicles. No one was injured in the accident.

The capacity of KamAZ owned by Azpetrol was 25 tones. There was diesel and AI-93 gasoline in the two-section container.
