Baku. Hafiz Heydarov-APA. Vahid Zahid Soltanov, 40 killed his wife Asli Islam Soltanova, 34 in Khatai district at 19:00, because of jealousy, Baku Main Police Department told APA that Soltanov was arrested during operations carried out by the officials of Khatai Police Station #34.
Khatai Prosecutor’s Office told APA that Soltanova was knifed many times and the incident occurred because of jealousy. Soltanov faced charges under Article 120.1 (deliberate murder) of the Criminal code.
