Two Azerbaijanis attacking bus arrested in Nijegorod

Nijegorod – APA. Two Azerbaijanis, who committed robbery in Nijegorod province last December, have been arrested, APA reports quoting Rossiskaya gazeta. The house of unnamed Azerbaijanis was searched, weapons, bullets and a great deal of heroin were found there. Both men faced charges of robbery, keeping illegal weapons and narcotics. The detainees did not admit the accusations, but the sufferers confirmed that they had committed the crime.

A Mercedes bus carrying 11 businessmen and 2 drivers was attacked in Nijegorod part of Moscow-Kazan highway in December last year. Three of passengers asked the driver to stop the bus for a few minutes. The driver stopped the bud near Pira settlement of Volodarski region. Four armed men got into the bus, bound arms and legs of passengers and took money and jewelry worth 2 million rubles. The resisting passengers were beaten, some were knifed. 6 were injured in the aftermath of the attack. One of them was seriously injured.
