APA reports that it is reflected in the report of Azerbaijani Government regarding the outcomes of 2008. The report also reads that as a result of operations carried out in 2008, 936 foreigners with no registration and proper documents were detained in Azerbaijan and 330 of them were deported from the country and 465 of them were fined according to the administrative rules.
Majority of detained foreigners was the citizens of China, Iran, Pakistan, India, Turkey, Georgia, Russia and other countries.
