Trial on the case of Nardaran residents issuing death fatwa against Sabir Rustamkhanli fixed on March 29

Baku. Ramil Mammadli-APA. The trial on the case of Nardaran residents Haji Ali Huseynov and Haji Hikmat Valiyev issuing death fatwa against MP Sabir Rustamkhanli was fixed on March 24, APA reports.
The trial will be presided over by Yusif Karimov.
Participants of the rally held in Nardaran settlement on January 9 said death fatwa had been issued against chairman of Civil Solidarity Party, MP Sabir Rustamkhanli. Sabunchu district court launched criminal case on the fact on Article 134 (threatening to kill or inflict serious bodily harm) of the Criminal Code. Nardaran resident Haji Ali Huseynov was detained on January 24. On January 26, Narimanov district court passed a decision on his imprisonment.
Nardaran resident Haji Hikmat Valiyev was detained concerning the case on February 3. He was also sentenced to two months in jail.
