One more person detained in connection with hearing of Azerbaijani parliamentarianâ€™s son

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. There are new details in the hearing of Azerbaijani parliamentarian Ilyas Ismayilovâ€™s son Etimad Ismayilov held in Chelyabinsk province of Russia, APA reports. Besides Jafarov and Guzov, who were detained with Etimad Ismayilov, former head of Prodkorporasiya Vladimir Shvadchenko has also been arrested. Shvadchenkoâ€™s lawyers objected to it. The lawyers said there was a serious threat to Shvadchenkoâ€™s life.

Vladimir Shvadchenko said he was ready to say who embezzled a large sum of money. Shvadchenkoâ€™s lawyers said there was a threat to his life, because he would name officials of the republic and province.

Special expert commission of Russian Interior Ministry also gave negative opinion on the accusations brought against Etimad Ismayilov and other defendants. The experts said law was violated in the documents submitted to the court and the examination was ineffective.

Etimad Ismayilov is the owner of â€œAvroasiyaâ€ Industry-Finance Group LLC. One of the companies under the patronage of First Deputy Governor of Chelyabinsk Andrey Kosilov owes Avroasiya Industry-Finance Group LLC $1mln. Arbitration Court has also given document confirming that the company owes the company owned by Etimad Ismayilov.

Etimad Ismayilov was detained by the officers of Russian Federal Security Service in Domodedovo airport on March 25, 2008. Charges under articles 159.4 (swindling) and 274/14 (money laundry) of Russian Criminal Code were brought against Etimad Ismayilov on March 27.
