Ombudsmanâ€™s report on 2008 to be discussed in Parliamentâ€™s session on March 6

Baku-APA. Azerbaijani Human Rights Commissioner Elmira Suleymanovaâ€™s annual report on security and protection of human rights and freedoms in Azerbaijan will be discussed during the Parliamentâ€™s session on March 6, Ombudsmanâ€™s Office Press Service told APA.
The Human Rights Commissioner has presented the annual report to the President and the Parliament. The report has been submitted to the Cabinet, Constitutional Court, Supreme Court and Prosecutor General.
The reports covers restoration of human rights and freedoms violated by state and local bodies, officials, prevention of breach of human rights, as well as the activity of Ombudsman on consideration of situation regarding security of human rights, the results of legal education and scientific and analytical works, its state bodies, its cooperation with society and mass media, its international relations and recommendations and proposals to ensure human rights and freedoms more productively.
