Elchin Behbudov visits Medical Unit of Justice Ministry and jail #10

Baku. Ramil Mammadli â€“ APA. Chief of Azerbaijani Committee against Torture Elchin Behbudov visited Medical Unit of Justice Ministry and jail #10 of the Penitentiary Service.
Behbudov told APA that he had met with lifers Elchin Amiraslanov and Ramiz Badalov in the medical unit. Elchin Behbudov said Elchin Amiraslanov was transferred to the medical unit on February 21. He was treated for epilepsy, pains in upper and lower extremities.
The human rights defender said Amiraslanov wanted Azerbaijani Committee against Torture to appeal to President Ilham Aliyev on his behalf for commuting his sentence. Badalov was treated for kidney, heart and prostate gland. Badalov also asked to appeal to President Ilham Aliyev for commuting his sentence.
Elchin Behbudov said he met with correspondent of Azadlig newspaper Mirza Sakit in jail #10.
â€œMirza Sakit did not complain of his detention conditions, but said he had problems with nervous system,â€ he said.
