The Court gives a month to ACP and Baku Zaman newspaper to leave the headquarter

Baku. Elnur Mammadliâ€“APA. The Court of Appeal made decision on the Open Society Party (ACP) and Baku Zaman newspaperâ€™s leaving the headquarters in Icheri Sheher (Old City). The court reviewed the partyâ€™s appeal on the Sabayel District Courtâ€™s decision and kept the decision of first instance in force, ACP sources told APA. The party and newspaper have to leave the headquarters within a month.

Adviser to ACP leader Yagub Abbasov told APA he signed a rent deal with the buildingâ€™s owner and it expired few months ago. â€œThey did not prolong the term of deal and appealed the court. We have to find new headquarter within a monthâ€.
