Frenchman detained in connection with 18-year-old Azeri Orkhan Agayev’s murder in Strasbourg <font color=red>– UPDATED </font>

The local police told Orkhan Agayev’s father about it, APA’s Europe bureau reports. According to the information, the detainee is 30-35-year-old resident of Alsace region of Strasbourg. He is supposed to be the member of neo-Nazi trend. Azerbaijanis, as well as representatives of other nations living in France were shocked at this fact. They had supposed that an immigrant committed the crime. The police were also working on the version that the murderers were citizens of Balkan countries or Arabs. The police are expected to hand over the body to the family tomorrow. The body is in morgue now. Agayev’s family said that the body will be brought to Baku and buried here.
The incident happened in Hospital street, Strasbourg at 17.30 by local time on January 7. 18-year-old Orkhan Agayev was knifed in the throat by unknown men because of disagreement in the tram. Local police said the investigation is underway and footage taken by the camera in the tram is being investigated. The incident is supposed to happen because of the mobile phone.
Orkhan Agayev’s father Aliheydar Agayev is the owner of “Baki geceleri” restaurant in Strasbourg. Orkhan Agayev lived in Strasbourg together with his family. He turned 18 on January 6. He was killed in 50m of “Baki geceleri” restaurant. /APA/
