The police office chief said the prisoner was arrested in the house of his fellow-villager a.k.a. Ogru Tofig. Imran Hasanov also said that Hashimov was arrested today at 11.30.
Public affairs department of the Penitentiary Service told APA that Rahib Hashimov, 27, was arrested in Terter region today.
Gandja police office reported that the prisoner was arrested in Baku yesterday.
Prisoner Rahib Hashimov was not found in prison during the night count on January 4 and he was supposed of breaking out of the jail.
He had been sentenced to 3 years and a half under Articles 177.2.2 and 177.2.3 (repeated theft) and 178.2.2 (repeated swindle) of the Criminal Code. /APA/
