Azerbaijani Interior Ministry officer killed while neutralizing organized gang

The armed smugglers and the police exchanged fire. Officer of Interior Ministryâ€™s Department to Combat Organized Crimes, colonel-lieutenant Namig Musayev was killed. The police managed to neutralize the criminals. An Iranian and an Azerbaijani were detained during the operation, 6kg drugs were confiscated.
General Prosecutorâ€™s Office Department of Investigation of Grave Crimes launched criminal case.
The police chief said his deceased colleague will be buried in Baku. /APA/
