29 poisoned from food in Berde released from hospital

All of the 29 people poisoned at a wedding party in the village of Tumasly of Berde region yesterday have been released from hospital after receiving first medical aid.
Head physician of Berde Children’s Hospital Hagigat Agayeva said though they have been released from hospital, they will be kept under medical control for a time.
Mass poisoning happened in Berde region of Azerbaijan yesterday. APA’s Garabagh bureau correspondent at the site reports that 29 poisoned at a wedding party in Tumasli village of Berde appealed to hospital. Five of them are old and middle-aged, 24 are 7-14 years old.
Their health condition is not severe.
Chief of resuscitation department of Berde Children’s Hospital Elkhan Humbatov said drumstick and drinks are primarily said to cause poisoning. The village residents who were at the wedding party said the meat had a strange smell. They said poisoning from drinks was also recorded in the village about 10 days ago. /APA/
