- How are the rescue activities going at the site of high-rise building collapse?
- We did the best to rescue the supposed survivors out of the rubble of the building from August 28 to September 1. We didnâ€™t bring heavy vehicles to the site and sniffer dog groups and rescuers were involved in the activities. The rescue activities are likely to be completed tomorrow. Dead bodies are supposed to be trapped under the basement. There are 6 meter deep concrete layer on he basement after the collapse. We want to recover bodies undamaged as much as possible. All the heavy vehicles and passenger carrying vehicles are registered in the list of our civil defense troops. By law, all the state-owned privately owned heavy vehicles and equipment comes to the disposal of the Emergency Situations Ministry in the event of emergency accident.
