SOCAR press service told APA the incident occurred in the morning on July 14 in the atmosphere vacuum installation of the refinery’s 305th plant. “Hot weather caused a smoke in the installation, but there was no outdoor fire. Firefighters were immediately mobilized at the site and the incident was preventedâ€, SOCAR officials said.
The fire didn’t cause material damages on the refinery and no casualties were reported.
