Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. Police day is marked in Azerbaijan today, APA reports. On this occasion Interior Minister Ramil Usubov together with the personnel of Interior Ministry visited the grave of Heyday Aliyev in the Alley of Honors and the Martyrs’ Alley.
Ramil Usubov told journalists that the police mobilized energy to maintain order and stability in Azerbaijan.
“Order is perfectly maintained in Azerbaijan. The appreciation of the President laid responsibility on us. We will do our best to justify the President’s care,†he said.
Ramil Usubov said some events had been planned on the occasion of the professional holiday.
“I am sure that this holiday will be marked as a national holiday. Azerbaijani people are together with the police. The police always try to serve the people,†he said.
