Crisis center opened to shut down Moscow Cherkizov bazaar

Representatives of all law-enforcement bodies of Russia are working there, APA reports quoting Interfax agency. Bastrikin said “this nest of vipers” in the center of Moscow should be shut down.

Bastrikin called the Chrekizov bazaar “a state within a state”. “They have own police, judiciary, prosecution, customs and its infrastructure, including the prostitution houses. They said there were such people who didn’t leave the bazaar for years because there was everything for life”.

Bastrikin said the Russian Prosecutor’s Office was investigating the import and sale of the products threatened the life and health of Russian customers. Most part of those goods – children clothes and shoes – was stored in the Cherkizov bazaar, in the storages of AST Group of Companies without documentation. Bastrikin said owner of those goods of $2 billion was wanted for 4 months.

AST Group of Companies’ owner is Azerbaijan-born Russian businessman of Jewish origin Telman Ismayilov.
