Baku. Ramil Mammadli – APA. Chief of Khizi region department of Azerbaijan State Land and Cartography Committee Jeyhun Huseynov has been arrested, law-enforcement bodies told APA. the department chief was detained by Interior Ministry’s department to Combat Organized Crimes. Narimanov district court passed a judgment on his arrest.
Huseynov faced charges of embezzlement, abuse of power.
Khizi region prosecutor’s office confirmed the information to APA but refused to give additional information saying the investigation was not being carried out by them.
The committee has not commented on the fact yet.
