A group of high-ranking officers of Azerbaijani Defense Ministryâ€™s Training Center held accountable over violations of law

After Major-General Lankaran Aliyev was dismissed from the post of chief of Training Center, examinations began in most services of the military unit.

The examinations found out fact of embezzlement in the Training Center, criminal case was launched on the fact on articles embezzlement, abuse of power. Chief of Automobile Service of the Training center, Lieutenant-Colonel Arif Mammadov, acting chief of Housing Service, Lieutenant-Colonel Elshan Abbasov, commander of the unit, captain Ramil Khammadov, chief of fuel storage, ensign Fikrat Abbasov were arrested.

Chief of Thing Service of the Training Center, Major Nazim Hasanov and chief of Financial Service, Lieutenant-Colonel Intigam Movlanverdiyev were held accountable. Major-General Lankaran Aliyev has given testimony, his links to the facts are being investigated.
