Shooting occurred between trespassers and soldiers. One soldier was reportedly killed in the shooting. Several civilians were also reportedly killed during the armed incident.
Samukh Region Executive Power told APA that soldier of State Border Service (SBS) Iskandarov Elton Khaleddin, 19, killed in the shooting on Azerbaijan-Iran border had been buried in Ahmadbayli village of Samukh region. Representatives of SBS participated in the funeral ceremony.
Iskandarov Elton Khaleddin was drafted in 2008.
The official bodies have not confirmed the information yet.
