Akaydin wanted the stenogram of the discussions on giving permission for the construction held in the municipality in March-April, 2005. Members of the Republican People’s Party, who were in minority in the municipality then, objected to the construction plan. Despite this, Antalya municipality with Justice and Development Party (AKP) in majority, and Chalkaya municipality gave permission to the construction.
Member of Republican People’s Party, Professor Mustafa Akaydin, who defeated head of municipality from AKP in the local elections on March 29, intends to investigate all official documents of the area allotted by the municipalities for the construction of the hotel and documents giving permission for the construction plan.
