APA correspondent reports from the site that nearly 30 persons, including women and children, attempt to commit suicide. They are family members and relatives of businessman Chingiz Mayilov from Goychay Region of Azerbaijan. They demanded releasing Mayilov from arrest and to stop police persecution against them.
Many people gathered around the site.
Officers of the Ministry of Emergency Situations and police arrived already. Deputy Chief of Baku Police Headquarters Yashar Aliyev told APA they are holding negotiations with those persons and taking necessary measures to solve the problem.
