Head of Ganja City Executive Power denies reports on his relations with murder hirer businessman Shohrat Guliyev

In his interview to APA, Azizov denied reports that Guliyev presented him a car and his deputy was summoned for the testimony on Guliyevâ€™s case.â€œMy administrative use BMW was allocated for the Ganja City Executive Power by the Presidential Administration and the Executive Powerâ€™s driver received it from the car park of the Presidential Administration. It is not difficult to verify this fact.

Other cars used by the Executive Power were also purchased officially and are in the balance of the Executive Power. The reports that my administrative use car was presented by Shohrat Guliyev, who was brought to justice, are ridiculous and slanderous.

The reports on the summoning of the deputy head of the Ganja City Executive Power for the testimony to the law enforcement bodies were also wrong. I am telling you officially he was not summoned for the testimony and had no relations with that issue.

I also heard about Shohrat Guliyev from the reports about the crimes he committed. He might be known among the traders in Ganja, but it is nonsense that he was known as an authoritative man in Ganja. Every resident of Ganja could confirm it. He was a trade worker, who committed abhorrent deeds and should take responsibility for his actions.

There is no practice in Ganja to receive present or illegal duties from the business people. The false and slanderous reports are signs of lack of topics, on the other hand, could meet the interests of the people outside Ganja who tried to overshadow the achievements of Ganja in recent yearsâ€.

Shohrat Guliyevâ€™s group is accused in the contract murders in Azerbaijan in 2003-2004.
