The incident took place in the private house at the Tusi Street 3 Wednesday evening as a result of gas leakage. House owner Ramiz Tahir Mammadov, 51, and his wife Gulnara Adigozal Gozalova, 39 were seriously injured in the explosion.
They were hospitalized. Doctors estimated their condition satisfactory.
The incident site is being investigated.
