He said that gunmen killed several hunters and attempted to take hostage some local residents in Nijny Alkun village. During the special operations, head of the armed groups, Doku Umarov’s personal security officer Adil Hajiyev was killed. The remainders of the burnt body of 2 gunmen and blood trails were found in the car. The gunmen took two wounded persons with them. Yevkurov said it was not known exactly whether Doku Umarov had been killed or not.
Passport and military ID were found on the Azerbaijani citizen, who was killed during the operation. Ingushetia Interior Ministry told APA that he was Muradov Akif Yahya, 31. He was the resident of Ganja.
