Baku. Hafiz Heydarov – APA. A man, giving untrue report to police about the bomb alert in Oasis restaurant in Baku, was arrested, Binagadi District Police Office told APA. The misleading informer was a resident of Nasimi District of Baku named as Vusal. Several people are also expected to be detained on the fact.
They will be charged under article 216 (obviously untrue report on terrorism) of the Criminal Code. The investigative measures are continued.
An unknown man called 102 service of the Interior Ministry on Thursday at about 15.30 and reported about the bomb installation in the Oasis restaurant. Police and brigades of the Ministry of Emergency Situations immediately arrived there and didn’t find any explosives in the restaurant. Police identified that untrue reporter used mobile phone to call police.
