Alekper Hamid Zeynalov, 52, who assaulted the private house at Jafarov str. 1431 in Mardakan settlement of Baku and killing householder Musa Huseynov was detained, Prosecutor’s Office of Azizbayov District of Baku told APA. Zeynalov told investigators that he committed murder to take vengeance. He was Huseynov’s brother-in-law.
The incident took place in the night from May 29 to 30. Zeynalov killed Huseynov with a pistol. Huseynov received four gunshot wounds and died at site.
The Prosecutor’s Office launched a criminal case under article 120.1 (deliberate murder) and 228 (illegal purchase, transfer, selling, storage, transportation and carrying of fire-arms, accessories to it, supplies, explosives) of the Criminal Code. The fact is under the investigation.
