Two murder cases uncovered in Azerbaijan

According to the statement, Shohret Guliyev, a resident of Gandja, made his mind to slay his business rival, Ahmad Ibrahimov who used to sell chandeliers at Sederek Hypermarket, and offered $25 000 to accomplices â€“ Mehman Gahramanov, Elmar Gasimov and Anar Hasanov for killing Ahmad.

After following Ahmad to his home on December 18, 2003, Anar shot Ahmad twice on his head by Makrov pistol when he was entering his home.

After that, they got $25 000 from Shohret and gave out. But Shehret continued killing his rivals and offered $25 000 to Mehman Gahramanov, Elmar Gasimov, Ilham Shabanov and Anar Hasanov to kill his business rival Kamal Alakbarov.
Then, after following Kamal, Ilham Shabanov killed him at his doorstep on March 22, 2004.

Police investigated the crimes and found heroine in Mehmanâ€™s car and Makarov pistol berried in Ilhamâ€™s yard. Shohret, Ilham and Mehman were arrested and investigation is under way to find whether they committed other crimes or not.
